It’s with great excitement that we invite you to: A Dream to Build On – Commemorating 20 years of Schools of Dreams. This one of a kind immersive event celebrates Ghanaian culture and marks two decades of unwavering commitment by Schools of Dreams to building schools and shaping futures in rural Ghana.

This event celebrates the collective and invaluable efforts that have fuelled impactful changes; efforts from you, our community. We invite you to this special evening that celebrates not only the achievements of the past two decades but also the boundless possibilities that lie ahead.

The evening will include:

Tastes: A journey of Ghanaian gastronomy, featuring culinary bites and signature drinks crafted by chef Rachel Adjei of the Abibiman Project that evoke the essence of Ghana and Africa’s rich culinary heritage.

Sights: A visual journey through the lens of renowned photography duo Graydon Herriott.  The photos are from a recent trip to Ghana of the communities impacted by the work of Schools of Dreams. The exhibit is both captivating and joyful and showcases moments from that trip. All photography displayed will be available for purchase, allowing you to bring a piece of those communities with you.

Sounds: A symphony of cultural entertainment, including traditional drumming and dance, rhythms of the continent past and present, and a performance by Juno nominated Nigerian-Canadian artist TheHonestGuy
